NANNY / HOUSEKEEPER REQUIRED
 
We are a lovely family living on the beautiful island of Guernsey (35 minutes flight from UK), nestled in the Channel between France and England. We have three children aged 2 1/2, 4 and 8 years of age. We are looking for a Nanny/Housekeeper to assist with our busy and lively household.
 
Duties would include general child care, school runs, activities, babysitting, travel abroad, light housework (we have cleaners), the usual washing/ironing, cooking, etc. which is shared with our other staff. 
 
We offer a car and petrol for personal use, a separate staff house of which you would have your own large bedroom and separate office area/tv room. We also offer a competitive salary with taxes and social security paid, four weeks paid holiday per year and other perks.
 
If you are looking for a change of pace on an idyllic island surrounded by beaches, if you love children and are psychologically attuned to the impact of your care on their development, if you are easy going, quiet, healthy and happy in yourself, able to assess familial situations and fit in comfortably (sometimes one needs to be able to take a step forward or back), then we would like to meet you. Qualifications are not as important as having a very competent, sensitive and attuned nature, together with a lot of patience and love to give. It is very important to us to acquire a Nanny with a calm and quiet disposition   we have a very structured routine and provide firm and fair boundaries for our children.
