Nanny Acceptance to join Agency

 

The minimum  required level to be considered as a sole charge nanny is outlined below. If you do not meet the required level then it is unlikely that we will be able to assist you further.

Unqualified candidates & unqualified nursery staff will not be considered until they have at least 24 months supervised experience. Or with at least 3 years sole charge experience in a family environment.

Qualified nursery staff can only be considered as a nanny/mothers help (some sole charge) until they have at least 12 months supervised or shared care experience.

Qualified  nannies with no previous sole charge experience will require at least 6 months supervised or shared care experience for consideration for a sole charge position.

All candidates must already be in the UK & have a permanent UK address,  hold a valid first aid and CRB certificate that is less than 12 months old to join the agency. You will be required to provide a full up to date CV, and 2 recent written traceable employment references related to childcare. These will be checked prior to arranging an agency interview. Nannies that are approved under the Childcare Approval Scheme (CAS) or Ofsted  Childcare Register (OCR) voluntary scheme will need to provide their registration number.

Please note all offers of employment for permanent vacancies are subject to a satisfactory 4 week trial period completed with the family and you maybe required to complete a New Criminal Records Disclosure if required  (Unless CAS or OCR registered)

Nanny Data Disclosure

 

By submitting your registration form, you consent to this nanny agency passing information, supplied by you, of both a personal and professional nature to prospective employers, in order that they can ascertain your suitability as a nanny employee. This will be either verbally or written and may include contact details.

We may choose to advertise your details on other reputable nanny job boards and email you further information. We may also share your registration with other nanny agencies, where we have reciprocal trading agreements, for both investigation and marketing  purposes. If you have added your details to the DIY database, you have given permission to advertise your contact details and as such for clients to contact you direct. With this option it is the clients responsibility to interview you, check your identity and references.

Nanny Agreement

 

When providing your initial application, ensure to email your CV. We require details of all formal qualifications taken including dates, school/college details and contact information as well as course pass references. We will check with the school to confirm your details. You must enclose details of your last 3 employers, to include name, address, telephone and email details. These must be UK traceable. Please ask them to provide you a written reference, which you must email to us within 7 days of your initial application. You will be required to be interviewed by the agency. Provide proof of identity. Provide original qualification certificates and a traceable employment history.

When providing your initial application, ensure to advise us of your current first aid certification. It is a mandatory requirement that you must hold a valid first aid certificate from a recognised course / organisation or have booked to attend a course (proof will be required)  to join the agency.

If you are not a UK citizen we will require proof of your right to work in the UK including a copy of your passport, driving licence and at least there references we are able to contact. Admission to our agency depends on our ability to obtain satisfactory references in the UK. No applicants without a right to live and work in the UK will be registered with The Agency.

An applicant cannot contact accept details of the same vacancy from another nanny agency, reply to an advert on other sites or respond to a local press advert if The agency has already advised the applicant of the position by telephone or email. If this occurs the applicant will be removed from the agencies files immediately.

Once a meeting or telephone call has been arranged with the family, if for any reason you are unable to keep the appointment, it is your responsibility to personally contact them and advise them of this.  You must also advise us of any meeting held with any client and all progress achieved. If an offer of employment is made, you must advise us immediately.

Submitting this form implies that the information provided is true & accurate. The applicant agrees that all information supplied by The Nanny Agency to the nanny is Confidential and will not disclose this to other Clients or Nannies. When the nanny is offered a position they will advise The Nanny Agency immediately that they have accepted. You confirm that you have completed this form honestly and accurately and understand that should any information that you have provided later be found to be inaccurate you could be summarily dismissed by the employer.
